Just take your time, and work on it slowly.Jocelynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02714577523744715551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4708706901860518892.post-62068089659863857442010-01-19T12:40:03.796-07:002010-01-19T12:40:03.796-07:00My DH has a quilt his mom made & it needs repa...My DH has a quilt his mom made & it needs repair. She had me just patch over them, with as-close-to-matching fabrics. It was a tedious job, as there were alot of patches to replace. I kept trying to think about what it was like to be the Grandmother, making the quilt. What she was thinking while putting it together, what could have been going on in her life (and in the world!) at the time it was made. Made the work go alot faster for me. And I was glad to feel like I had somehow extended the life of a family heirloom... Hope that helps some! :o)Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03566481663230296148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4708706901860518892.post-26824626905286271082010-01-19T06:41:25.849-07:002010-01-19T06:41:25.849-07:00So it sounds as though you are having to remove th...So it sounds as though you are having to remove the sheet from the other fabrics? This will be a tedious job if so...my suggestion is work on this when you are just relaxing with an old movie or music. Don't work on this when you want to be real productive with your pedal to the medal of a machine otherwise it will become so frustrating (I know and speak from experience here)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
